718 Inconel

Inconel 718 Plate

Inconel 718 is prepared by adding other metals to a basic metal to secure properties.  It contains quantities of other elements other than carbon and has been created for the purpose of increased hardness and chemical resistances.  Inconel 718 has the ability to be heated to a malleable state at a low temperature but also withstand extreme cold temperatures.  This makes 718 Inconel ideal for use in arctic exploration as well as submersible technologies.
