Aluminum Alloy

As an alloy that offers supreme weight to strength ratio, aluminum is a staple of the aerospace, aircraft and construction industries.  In addition to lightweight and strength features, aluminum alloys are resistant to corrosion and provide high endurance.

As we supply for copper, brass and the other alloys we carry, forms of aluminum alloy include:  plate, sheet, rob, tubing, bar, wire, forgings, as well as custom shapes and sizes.

Grades we provide include:

2219 aluminum, a nickel-copper alloy with excellent resistance to corrosion.  It has been installed where extreme temperatures are common, such as aerospace and cryogenic applications.  Aluminum 2219 possesses efficient thermal and electrical properties and will resist contamination and corrosion due to salt, sulfur, seawater, caustic solutions, and steam.

To learn more about the aluminum grades we offer including:  1100, 2011, 1145, 2024, 2219, 3003, 5052, 7050, 8030 and many others.  Tool and jig plate, alclad sheet and aircraft plate are readily available.
